NextGen Gallery Not Working on WordPress 4.4

Hello, I just upgraded to WP 4.4 and now instead of a gallery showing on my page, it shows the top part of my page header: https://www.voila-catering.com/catering_food/hors-doeuvres/

Help. I am a novice. Please be kind.

Should I downgrade WordPress to the previous 4.3.1 as NextGen not compatible with 4.4? just checking when a 4.4 compatible version of NextGen will be available?

@pedleyonline – NextGEN Gallery is compatible with WordPress 4.4, we just haven’t updated the readme.txt file’s line that is read to say that.

There could be a plugin conflict going on here or at least it should be ruled out. You may have similar sites working but they are not identical as one is not working. Have you tried deactivating all of your plugins, clearing your browser cache (and site caches if you are using a caching plugin), then reactivating the NextGEN plugin?

If this fixes the problem then it was likely one of the deactivated plugins that was causing an issue. Now, retrace your steps activating each plugin and re-checking to see if the problem returns. If it does then that last activated plugin was probably the one. Keep reactivating and in most cases it is also best to keep checking after each plugin, sometimes there may be more than one plugin on a site that will create an issue. If you do find one (or more) plugins causing this problem we would greatly appreciate your feedback on them so the developers may address them as soon as they can.

Also to note, in rare cases it may be the theme itself that is causing a conflict so while you have just the NextGEN plugin activated you might consider temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress Twenty series themes and see if this corrects the issue as well.

If the problem still persists after all of this we would still want to know, even more so, as we will still want to sort out the issue and may need additional details.

Disabled every plugin and tried 3 different themes.
Still cannot edit the thumbs in the Manage Gallery tab.

Facing the same issue, When you click on album the page reload. Tried deactivating all plugins but still the problem persist.
I have same 4.4 wordpress version.
It would be great if photocrati comes up with a solution as soon as possible.

Same problem after updating to WP 4.4. All plugins were deactivated. Neither shordcode is working. website: https://www.2s2.sk/galeria/

Same issue here, edit thumbnail button is gone. Only change on my website was updating WP to 4.4.

I’ve tried disabling all plug-ins, only Next-Gen Gallery is running – still not working ?? I’ve also tried it with two other themes, unfortunately still having the same problem.

I have the same problem. The only change was updating.
I have also switched off all the other plugins as advised.

I am using the NextGen Basis ImageExplorer with NextGen Browser Legacy imagebrowser-caption.php.
The photogallery will not go back and next.

Hi,

With only NextGen Gallery running on WordPress 4.4 – using NextGen Gallery V. 2.1.15. All other plug-ins deactivated.

No longer have the options to edit thumbnails, rotate or delete. Gallery settings at the top of the page also missing.

This is happening with all the default WordPress themes, including:

Twenty Eleven, Twenty Twelve, Twenty Fourteen, Twenty Thirteen.

Not sure what else to try? – Are you 100% sure your plug-in is compatible with WordPress 4.4?

Is another version of your plug-in due for release or should we downgrade to Word Press 4.3.1?

Are we best not to upgrade to WordPress 4.4 with the current version of NextGen Gallery? On default WordPress themes with no other plug-ins activated the NextGen Gallery (2.1.15) plug-in is no longer working. For gallery style sites that heavily use your plug-in (We love your plug-in!), this is a real problem. Maybe a warning message on your page would be useful to stop people upgrading to WordPress 4.4, although it does still state only compatible up to WordPress 4.3 on your site so we should have been more careful. Hope a fix will come soon.

Photocrati Pro version 5.0.1I installed
and WordPress 4.4

I can not Import Photocrati Galeries ??
I see Only the name of the first galerie and 1 photo.

It is an directory issue ?
