NextGEN Gallery Old Files

I had to uninstall NextGen in order to resolve some issues and now when I reinstalled it, my old galleries are not being shown. I know I did not delete the old gallery pictures because I just checked. Do I need to move the old galleries back into one the newly installed NextGen folders?
