I am using the nextgen-gallery to display pictures on my site and since I had updated to the most recent version my thumbnails and pictures all appear washed out or slightly faded. Is there a setting I am missing or something new I don’t see that is doint this. I am not sure why the pictures look this way now and was wondering if anyone has a clue. My pictures can be found at https://www.joshandcolleen.com/?page_id=3 Thanks for you help.

I have figured out that it is the theme I am using and not the actual gallery update. Howerver, I would still like to keep using this theme if anyone has any suggestion on what may be causeing the problem I would love to hear them.

washed out images are typically the result of the images not being saved in sRGB color space before you upload them. If you upload a aRGB color space image it looks low contrast and pastel colours when viewed in a broswer

Sorry I should have marked this as resolved a while ago. The theme i was using had an opacity rule in it. Once i changed that to not show any opacity all was fine.
