NextGEN Gallery Problems with showing Album

Hey
I would like to get af side showing an Album with Galleries. And I’m therefor useing NextGEN gallery. I can get the gallery to show a slideshow in my sidebar. But when i try to create a side and write [album=44,compact] on the side it just writes it on my side instead of showing the Album. Any help i just begun with homepage and wordpress so i need it from the buttom. My homepage is http//www.simonesblog.dk
