After the latest NextGEN 2 update, I found my album thumbnails were all being resized, and they were linking to a new dynamic folder. This caused all sorts sorts of problems that could not be fixed with CSS, as I then ended up with pixelated thumbnails!
I have a client coming to view the site on my local server this afternoon so have re-installed the previous version.

Before I attempt to update the plugin again, can anyone else confirm what was happening and how to fix it?

  • Ok, since I couldn’t find it in the wordpress editor, I did end up finding the right file in another way. I made the change, saved it, etc… but the thumbnail is still the same! Even after clearing the cache a few times.

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong here. ??

Ah! It’s working now! haha…. I guess for some odd reason, it just needed a few minutes for the change to take place. Now all the thumbnails look great.

And the other problem with the title is resolved too even though I only changed the thumbnail size in the php file, but somehow it got fixed. ??

    Thank you!!!

All – Yes, Album Thumbnail re-sizing is now part of the options available for customization in our current stable releases. In some cases there may be a delay due to caching so you may need to clear your caches for immediate results.
