NextGEN Gallery Sidebar Widget doesn’t show images

I have the same problem. The sidebar worked beautifully but then stopped showing the thumbnails, only showing the gallery name with an inbuilt link to open the gallery (see mhasc.au). After reloading a July 23 backup I am pretty sure the problem is due to WordPress updates. The backup restored the thumbnails in the sidebar but within minutes an automatic backup from WordPress to 6.2.3 occurred and the thumbnails disappeared again. Can anyone help!! I love the plug in when it works.
