NextGEN Gallery – Slideshow

And I cannot activate the plugin image rotator or install it all the way.

did you upload imagerotator.swf? if yes, …

did you set the Path to the Imagerotator? if not,

go to Gallery –> Options –> Slideshow and put the path where you uploaded the above mentioned file, e.g. /wp-content/uploads/imagerotator.swf

Save Changes and give it a new try

I couldn’t get imagerotator to load from the uploads directory either.

Per Alex’s site https://alexrabe.boelinger.com/wordpress-plugins/nextgen-gallery/ I moved it to the nextgen directory and then it loaded fine.

try that.

I uploaded the imagerotator.swf into this file:

/wp-content/gallery/imagerotator.swf

(that is where my galleries/images are sitting when I searched for them!)

and that is what i set it as in Gallery –> Options –> Slideshow

I also put the imagerotator.swf into /wp-content/uploads

help?!

Yea, I’m getting a black screen with a flash loading icon. So it seems like the imagerotator.swf is working okay. But no images ever show. I’ve uploaded imagerotator.swf to the nextgen-gallery directory. No dice.

One thing: I’ve customized nextgen for highslide to launch off of a single image. Wondering if that’s causing the imagerotator to fail…
