NextGen Gallery Slideshow still not working

  • This is a ‘sandbox’ site where I’m trying to sell a client on an idea, but I can not get the slideshow to work.

    I thought it might be my server, but I tested the slideshow in a different sandbox site and it does work there.
    I thought it might be the theme, but I changed this site to default theme and it still doesn’t work.
    I thought it might be my install of next gen, so I deleted it and reinstalled. Which, of course, has messed with where else I was using the plug in ??

    The slideshow does not work in posts or in the sidebar. I believe I am able to use all other parts of next gen *except* the slideshow.
    Yes, my path in the options panel is displaying the correct URL.

    Please, anyone have any other suggestions?

    OK, further work here. This problem has to be related to imagerotator.swf

    I’ve installed a different plug in “WordPress Gallery Slideshow” which also uses the imagerotator.swf
    This slideshow also does not display anything, just a blank box.

    I have, however, also installed this new plug-in on my other sandbox site, and it works perfectly.

    So, my next assumption is that the script is not loading? Conflicting with another plugin perhaps? I’ll try turning off everything else and working.

    Anyone have any other suggestions?

    Next update – it’s not a plug in conflict. I’ve deactivated everything and still no slideshow.

    I’ve moved everything (my theme, my content, my galleries) over to the other sandbox site, and I have working slideshows – both in the widget and in posts.

    If anyone can spot the imagerotator.swf difference between this functioning site and the old non-functioning site, I would be grateful.
