NextGen Gallery stopped working in Arabic language after update

  • Hi there,
    I manage a multi-language website (English+Arabic) based on:
    Wordpress 3.9.1
    NextGen Gallery 2.0.66
    WPML 3.0.1

    English working page:
    https://www.sama-development.com/najaf/

    Arabic NOT working page:
    https://www.sama-development.com/ar/najaf/

    Since last NextGen Gallery plugin update, galleries in Arabic pages stopped working. Pages in English language work perfectly.
    Changing theme can’t solve the problem.
    The theme I’m using is ThemeForest “Sahifa”. “Sahifa” is a full compliant WPML theme made specifically for RTL languages) and its support team made a check inside my website and they told me that probably the problem is caused by a malfunction of the NextGen Gallery plugin fail.

    IMPORTANT NOTES:
    1) All the pictures are named only with conventional chars (A-Z, 0-9 and “_” symbol)
    2) DB Collation is unicode case-insensitive (utf8_general_ci)
