Nextgen Gallery Thumbnail issue

    When I open manage gallery and then click edit thumbnail, a screen pops up to edit the thumbnail but the screen is white and never shows the image so I cant edit it?
    I’ve heard this gallery is not user friendly but I cant work out why I get a white pop up and no image to edit.
    Any suggestions or should I delete NextGen Gallery
