NextGen Gallery Thumbnail not working

Hey,
im using NextGen Gallery. When i include the featured Image with nextgen it doenst show up in popular post widget. (“no thumbnail”)
its working fine when uploading it with standard wp upload.
do you have any idea how i may fix this?
