nextgen-gallery – two pictures in Thickbox effect V0.99

    I have a problem with the Thickbox effect in nextgen-gallery. When i click on a thumbnail image it opens in a larger size (thats normal) but on the buttom on der right side there is the same picture out of the border. That looks very buggy. Maybe it is an Javasript render problem (I use Safari newst version) in firefox it looks normal.

    Does any one has an idea whats the problem are?

  • Disable all other plugins for a test, post a link if it doesn’t help

    I’ve got a similar issue with pb-embedFlash (by Pascal Berkhahn) plugin that displays SWF media using Lightbox or Thickbox. So if you’ve got images being shown box NGG you can’t also display Flash videos on the same page using the pb-embedFlash. See the following link for an example.

    Ooops. It looks like it was the Slimbox plugin. I turned that off and now both NGG and pb-embed work well together.

    The NextGen plugin doesn’t use wp_enqueue_script to reference its Thickbox safely, therefore it gets redeclared. Best way is to rewrite part of the plugin, following the wp_enqueue_script conventions.

    NextGEN USE wp_enqueue_script since the very very first version, that’s why it require minimum 2.1.
    You should study the code better, before post such things… There are other reason why it in some case failed

    I think I have found the bug. Now it seems to be ok, because i deactivated the Events Calendar 6.5.1 Plugin, but i can’t understand why. And I really want use this plugin. Or does anyone has another good calendar plugin?

    Switch the effect code in NextGEN Gallery to “custom” code, then it may work….
