NextGEN Gallery- why is gallery name displayed above extended gallery display?
-
I am a newbie trying to clean up the website I created: https://www.benttwigquilts.com
I am running NextGEN Gallery 2.1.23 and have 190 images in 53 galleries in 8 albums. I am using “extended” galleries with the thumbnail on the left and the description on the right that are accessed via a dropdown menu via the “Gallery” tab on my website.
My problem is that the **NAME** of a gallery appears above the gallery thumbnail display in some of the albums. For example, see the “Melting Magic” album. The words “Winter Woods” appears above the thumbnail for some unknown reason. The Melting Magic ALBUM is album number 3. Somehow the gallery name Winter Woods (which is GALLERY number 3) shows up. It seems the gallery with an ID number that matches the ALBUM ID apears above the first image. I DO NOT WANT ANYTHING DISPLAYED THERE!
Note that some albums (for example, “Handwoven Fabric” do not appear to have this problem. The clue there is that Handwoven Fabric is ALBUM ID=2 and there is no Gallery number 2. (it must have been deleted at one time).
I hope someone can help me with this, as I’ve tried changing every setting that looks relevant and searched the forums with no success and am VERY frustrated! Thanks in advance for your help!
David
