• Hi all,
I know I should post in the Capa plugin support forum but this plugin is not maintained anymore.

Few years back, I installed Capa in order to grant registered users to specific pages and categories, when unregistered users could only navigate through 1 or 2 specific pages. It worked great.

Now I upgraded to latest version of Nextgen, 2.0.66.37 and only me the admin can see the galleries within posts, not all other users. With Capa activated, new galleries only show “Invalid Displayed Gallery” and old galleries show lines of errors : “Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given in /homepages/10/d220772593/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_gallery_display/class.displayed_gallery.php on line 657”

When Capa deactivated, all works like a charm. I tried to find a plugin that does the job CaPa does, I tried a dozen, but all of them grant/restrict categories/pages/posts for specific roles, but none of them include “visitor/unregistered user” as a role, which is the only thing I’m looking for. Would you suggest one that does what I’m looking for ? Or a different setting on my config ?

    Here’s my settings :
All other plugins are deactivated, theme switched to twenty series
    -MySQL version is 5.1.73-log
    -Php version is 5.4.35
    -mod_rewrite Apache module activated ? : I don’t know
    -PHP Safe Mode OFF ? : I don’t know. Here’s what my phpversion.php says on -the ‘configure command’ line : “–enable-safe-mode=no’ ‘–“
    I’m hosted on 1&1
    My website is https://www.munost.fr.

Thanks in advance for your help.

@nuclearsound – If all is working correctly with CaPa deactivated then there really may not be much we can offer. It may still be worth your while to post in the CaPa support forums as the community in general may have a suggestion for you to try.

In fact no @cais, as I said previously, I installed Capa because I needed to grant access to registered users, and deny for simple visitors.
I’ll try to post on the Capa support forum as per you advice, we’ll see what happens,

    Thanks
