Nextgen lightbox doesnt work with WP 3.6

I have this same problem. With WP 3.6 none of the lightbox effects work, not in pages and not in the widget. No other plugins activated and the default WP themes tested.

Also I noticed that in combination with Genesis / Dynamik, some functions of Dynamik don’t work anymore, like dragging the custom css box within the browserwindow or the colorpicker which shows a white color instead of all the colors.

Once I upgraded – I needed to go to Other Options > Lightbox Effects > and change it from Thickbox to Lightbox. It is now working properly. Hope it helps someone.

If you are mucking around with gong back and forth from NG’s older versions like i was to find a solution to this stupid problem please realise that they haven’t yet fixed the script to re-write the plugin FOLDER NAME on the server!

so your plugin may be looking for scripts that are in a folder that doesn’t exist…

in NG’s “(Show Advanced Settings)” section of the lightbox pulldown look at the absolute path for the scripts… and check that with your server… i bet you’ll find that it’s looking at an older folder name….
