NextGen plugin not working from 2nd pagination page

I’m having the same issue (at least I think so, based on the description). The link above is some type of spam or malware. But I’m seeing the same thing originally described:

>I have installed nextgen plugin with wordpress 5.1.1. I have fixed images_per_page = 24. From 2nd pagination page (means 25th image onwards) , nextgen plugin is not working. The image is opening in browser with full path, while it should open in popup window with arrow controlled ui.

Is this a known issue?

Actually i changed images per page to 50, so that all images appeared in one page without any pagination. Issue is still open. If i change images per page to 24 then 2nd pagination page will appear and images will not open in popup, instead they will open directly in the browser. My browser version is chrome 70.0.

Apologies.
This seems to be an existing issue with our “simplelightbox” effect.
Our developers already found the problem and the fix will be available in a couple of versions.

Once this fix it’s available, please run the update, re-test the site, and see if it works for you.
