• They made the business decision to not update the pro version, and tell us we had to rebuild our entire website. Like I have the time or money to do that… at their whim..

But then in DEC 2020 they release a broken 3.1.2 for the eCommerce it broke everything. It has been 6 weeks of me emailing them every day, I have lost the entire Xmass sales period (thousands of $$ lost).

They only respond to my emails me once a week if I am lucky with night platitudes (remember I pay them a yearly subscription to support their product… not asking for free advice here). I have told them what is broken and they ignore it… The worst part is they won’t even give the rollback so things work!

I was even an affiliate now I say stay away far far away…

    Hi @xanderphotographics,

We are sorry to hear of your experience. The changes that we needed to do for both the NextGen Gallery and NextGen Pro were related to the new WP 5.6 major update’s requirements.

Even though this is a NextGen Gallery ( free topic ), we will be happy to reply to your
We had to modify our premium plugin auto-update mechanism for it to comply with WP 5.6 standards and that was historically the first time when the autoupdater didn’t worked and we were asking our customers to manually update it.

Also, we entirely admit that our NGG post WP 5.6 related updates were not perfect and we had to release a couple of new hot fixes until the majority of the newly introduced issues since WP 5.6 were resolved. Both our dev and support team worked hard sometimes ignoring weekends to get to the point where we are now and stabilizing the product after this impactful WP side update.
