NextGen Slideshow won't show at the bottom of the posts

  • Hello,
    I have added a slideshow to the top of my page using the featured content gallery plug-in. I am trying to add a gallery at the bottom of my page (at the bottom of a post) using the nextgen plugin. The slideshow doesn’t register at all when I load the page in a browser…
    When I click the add slideshow button it adds ‘[slideshow id=5]’ but absolutely nothing shows on my home page.
    Also, when I try to switch the slideshow at the top to the nextgen gallery slideshow plugin, it shows only a loading bar. Images etc show up fine, but not a slideshow. I am a relative novice so any advice/steps to take that can be given would be greatly appreciated.
    I have searched the wp forums but the advice found is either a little too complicated to follow, or doesn’t work.
