• this is different than the well-publicized Cron job issues. using debug we’ve seen that NextGen gallery is throwing off several notices/warnings in the newest updates (since version 2). our host has determined that this is the causation of several 500 and 502 errors we are having. disabling the plug-in doesn’t fact eliminate the server errors. does anyone have an immediate fix?

    @bigdealben – We are aware of this issue and it will be in a near future release but we are entirely focused on resolving this CRON issue before we proceed with anything else at the moment.

    Although I do have a question regarding this issue, are you using an NGINX DB instead of the standard MySQL?

    Thanks!

    @photocrati @cais,
    I totally understand the need to take care of the critical issue involving the CRON jobs prior to addressing this. That being said this issue, albeit to a slightly lesser extent than the CRON issue, is significantly impacting our sites.

    Both sites that I manage on NGINX are experiencing the aforementioned issue. here is some more information regarding our setups ( both are extremely similar)

    server:NGNIX
    PHP:5.4.17-1~dotdeb.0
    MySQL: 5.5.31
    WP: 3.6.1
    Host: zippykid

    @bigdealben – We actually expected to have the fix you are looking for in our next round of beta/public releases but as noted we need to address this CRON issue first … and unfortunately I cannot offer a timeline on when the next release after this issue is corrected will be.
