NG 2.0.x:Can not upload images into galery

  • After update NextGen upto 2.0.66 i can not update umages into gallery. I get next sequebce errors

  • Hi, I have the same problem with the new version of the plugin. It’s the first time that i use this plugin and i was thinking i was wrong. But maybe it’s not me.
    I hope you will find a solution.

    @photocrati – I try to do it in next modes:
    – I have exists gallery and try to add new image in it. Result – process will start, progressbar will run, popup alert – Download complete,0 file downloaded. (but record in gallery was created with empty image (not exist))
    – I create new gallery, and upload new image. Result is same. Gallery created, image-record created, image-file not download.

    To my regret, I can not switch to the template’s twenty fourteen.

    I also found in /gallery .haccess file with next content

    <Files ~ "\.(php|php3|php4|pl|cgi)$">
    deny from all
</Files>

    I remove it and text again. Result it same – 0 files…

    Yet another test. I rollback on 1.9.13 version. I made no changes to the settings and i can download images excellent! But i switch off flash-downloader.

    @toologic – I’m glad this is sorted out for you but I still do not know what you are referring to with downloads … downloading is not a functionality of NextGEN Gallery.

    NextGEN Gallery is used to display images not manage downloads of them.

    Also, we do not create an .htaccess file in any folder any where so that you found one under our default /gallery/ folder would indicate an issue elsewhere that may need to be addressed.

    downloading is not a functionality of NextGEN Gallery

    I’m surprised to hear it from you. The “Add Gallery / Images” – is not functional NextGen? How, then, images get to the gallery?

    I deleted all the files .htaccess, but it did not affect the result. I still can not add a image to the gallery.

    @toologic – The “Add Gallery / Images” is an upload function. This is what I have been trying to understand from you … you keep writing download which means to get the images from the display not add images to a gallery.
