    There is a simple trick to find what other plugin will stop working with the new Nextgen version. I also saw that shortcodes can’t be called using NextGEN_shortcodes any longer.

    Paste this on Google
    “NextGEN_shortcodes” site:plugins.svn.www.ads-software.com inurl:trunk
    (two plugins will fail)

    and also
    “nggCreateGallery” site:plugins.svn.www.ads-software.com inurl:trunk
    (two more plugins)
