The question is simple. I use ad Apache + Nginx server. In Plesk I set some additional directives both for apache and nginx. Now I decided to move from the simple Cache Enabler plugin to the more complex W3TC.
W3TC creates an nginx.conf file in the main directory of my websites.
W3TC added some lines at the beginning of the .htaccess file too.
The question is: what happens to my additional directives in Plesk?
Have I to delete them or not?

P.S. (minifing function doesn’t work well and breaks the website)

    Hello @pandasonic2

Thank you for your question and I am happy to assist you with this.
The question may be simple, however, the answer depends on the configuration of your website.
You mentioned that you are using Apache + Nginx. W3 Total Cache uses the rewrite rules for Page Caching (if Disk Enhanced is used), Minify, and Browser Cache, and sometimes the CDN.
In Performance>Install you can find the Rewrite Rules (based on active settings). As for your additional directives, you should make sure that those are not in conflict with any of the W3TC rules, so either remove those rules if you have the same action in the W3TC or make sure that the W3TC settings that may be setting those rules are disabled.

Regarding the Minify problem, it depends on the settings again and if some files are pre-minified. You should check which modification is causing the problem (HTML minify, JS minify, or CSS minify) and exclude the file that does not agree with being minified from the modification.

Also, please share the website URL

    Thanks!
