    Hello, i am using cloudpanel nginx based server, i added the code from hummingbird to enable gzip and i rebooted the server. But i cant get gzip to work. It keeps saying Inactive

    Hi @aaydas,

    I’m afraid, this is more specific to the server rather than the plugin. I noticed the steps are quite similar when I checked the document here for Cloudpanel:

    It does mention adding the Gzip rules to the configuration files should be enough to get it working.

    Could you please check whether clicking the “Re-check Status” button under Hummingbird > Gzip Compression picks any changes as shown in the following screenshot?

    If its still the same issue even after the above, then I’m afraid checking with the hosting provider would be ideal regarding the required steps as it would vary form one server to another.
