Our host has decided to switch to NGINX from Lightspeed. We’ve had a few issues with AOIS, including installation and activation. But have been able to work around that by switching PHP versions down for activation and then back up once installed.

What is and is not supported on NGINX?

Is there anything I definitely should not use?

Are the NGINX config rules equivalent to the htaccess rules?

I tried ChatGPT, and it did convert them, and they look ok, if a bit inefficient, but I’m not an expert in this. So if there are official AOIS rules, I’d prefer to use those.

    Thanks in advance!
