  • supercache does write the .htaccess files for apache, and you have to convert those to nginx rules.

    I haven’t had any character set issues myself, and don’t have any special rules for that, but I imagine you can look up nginx documentation for how to specify the character set, and that should take care of it.

    Thanks, your answer helped. But WP Super Cache could detect if we are not using Apache and display a warning stating exactly what you wrote above…
