nginx.conf

  • W3 Total Cache writes nginx configuration changes in nginx.conf in wwwroot. Does nginx pick this up automatically, or do you need to include this configuration with the include directive?

    I can’t see any mention of using the include directive in any of the configuration examples or tutorials.

    Is there a way to verify these rules are being picked up?

    Yes, you do need to. Nginx can’t pick up directives on the fly, like Apache does with directives from .htaccess file.
