Nice… but…

  • My site has a dark background, the White background of the editor doesn’t reflect about what i am doing! If you just added the option to modify the background color, that would be a very appreciated feature and why not let me change the color of the buttons aswell, as the buttons in the dark themes is not good, but then, changing the color theme doesn’t reflect at the pages. Hiding the tabs isn’t working either for me. Would like to the function hide all tabs (this is also a great editor for Forums!).

    Thank you for your kind rating; and invaluable feedback. I apologize it has taken me so long to reply.

    Yeah, the editor skin is something that is included in the core WordPress code. TinyMCE (the editor WordPress uses) does have other skins; but WordPress does not include them in the core code.

    This is most likely because the editor skins are quite large in file size.

    I’ll check into the code; and perhaps I can offer different skins as additional download packs. I don’t want to include them in my core plugin code (since they are bulky); but I can probably cod the plugin to “look” for any skins; and apply them accordingly.

    I’ll check into this.. and report back my findings.
