First of all, this is a nicely designed page builder with good features even in the free version. It’s obvious the developers care about it. The pro version is reasonably priced as well.

However, working with Brizy is an emotional rollercoaster.

When everything works, it’s nice, fast, and does not get in the way, unlike other page builders. In fact, I wish every product for WP was this well thought out.

At the same time, it’s sometimes very unreliable. If it doesn’t barf a generic and unhelpful “something went wrong” error in your face (while the rest of the site works), it randomly changes things between edits, destroys your pending changes by reloading your editor page, randomly resets the color palette, attempts to edit the wrong page half the time, and I could continue the list. This is on a well managed site with only a handful of light plugins (pretty much the stock set).

As a result, our workflow revolves around trying to avoid making any changes unless absolutely necessary, saving edits, and hoping we won’t have to touch it ever again, out of fear of it breaking everything again.

If it had the reliability, this plugin would be a 5/5 without question. That said though, it’s still a good page builder, regardless of these issues. Just make sure to backup frequently, because it will destroy your site eventually.
