• It’s a nice plugin. Took me a few minutes to get used to it but it is working as expected. The avatar doesn’t seem to be working as I need because all avatars are the same even if I manually set avatar image to the review, but not much of an issue there. I have a community platform and the Assign User should of “populate” the avatar email and username fields but it doesn’t .
Overall, a better plugin than the one I previously used.

PS: flexibility of the shortcodes… simply wonderful.

    Thanks for the review!

Sounds like you have the “Regenerate avatar” setting enabled. Enabling the setting will always display the most current gravatar image associated with the reviewer’s email. Disable this setting to use the avatar image that is saved to the review.

I’m not sure what you mean by “the Assign User”. If the name and email fields are hidden in the form, the Site Reviews will automatically use the name and email of the logged in user. See also: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/hide-email-field-if-user-is-logged-in/#post-17046722

On Edit Review backend there’s the aside options like Category, Assigned Posts, Assigned Users

    1. Avatar “issue” fixed. Indeed the option was active
    2. Regarding the Assigned Users is no longer a concern as the avatars are displaying ok now

The Assigned User option is unrelated to the reviewer’s avatar. It simply allows you to assign a review to a user in the same way that reviews can be assigned to pages and categories.

This is useful in cases where you are allowing people to review users on your website.
