    Hi – I have installed your plugin, with thanks, because my troubleshooting identified that eway.php in the Instinct Gold Cart plugin fails to send admin and customer emails. Which is really annoying because email notifications work perfectly with other gateways.

    The styling of the table-2 on the checkout page was not very nice at all for my theme so I did my best to adjust it. You can see the results at https://www.buyfencing.com.au.

    In your FAQs you ask to confirm if your plugin works with Gold Cart enabled – yes it does.

    Apart from the problem I had with the styling on the checkout page, any orders going through WPEC are “pending” and “incomplete sales”. Do you know why this is so and not triggering the complete sale?

    G’day Mark, thanks for the nice words.

    I’m pretty sure that at some point, it was marking completed orders as “succeeded”. I think something must have changed with wp-e-commerce 3.8.9, so thanks for bringing this to my attention. I’ll have a look at it this weekend.

    Regarding the styling of the checkout form, I’ve been thinking about making that template-aware so that themes can easily override the form styling. I’ll have a look at that this weekend too.

    I hope the heat is starting to abate where you are; it was 44°C here today, just dropped to 32°C with the “cold” front coming through, and no more choppers flying over with buckets. Nice!

    Hi Ross – 44 is just wrong. I’ll buy you a cold drink not a coffee then.

    The eWay files with Gold Cart whilst getting better, they have always had problems and not well updated.

    That is why your plugin is so promising.

    I can see how hard making the styles right in the checkout is – there are so many overriding styles – then there is mobile over the top of that. It’s a mess in there! Good luck if you decide to tackle it ??

    G’day Mark, I just released v2.3.0 with templated form fields and a fix for the order status. Please give it a burl.

    If you want to customise the form fields, copy the template from {plugin}/templates/wpsc-eway-fields.php into your theme folder and edit it.

    Let me know if this resolves your problems.
