Nice Plugin! Toggle Games?
-
Is it possible to toggle off the games? For my usage, the games aren’t necessary.

Dear @songdove,
Thank you for your topic.
At the moment, unfortunately, the plugin doesn’t have your mentioned feature available.
I will open a ticket as per your request so that our Product Management Team can consider adding the feature in one of the future updates of the plugin.
Please check out our guideline on adding your suggested feature to the plugin.
1. The Support Team gets the request and opens a ticket for the Product Management Team.
2. The Product Management Team takes the suggested feature and adds it to our roadmap.
3. Then, the Product Management Team gives priority to the opened tasks based on the market demand for the feature.
4. After doing so, the suggested feature is taken from our roadmap and added to the existing backlog. As a Support Specialist, I can’t mention an exact date to add the suggested feature to the general update of the plugin.
The decision-making process depends on our Product Management Team and different factors.Thank you.
Thanks for adding it for consideration by your product management team! I’ll just let my users know to ignore the games for now, unless they want to drill themselves on what they add to their dictionaries. As others have said, yours is the only dictionary plugin in the personal user category! Well done! ??
Dear @songdove,
Thank you for your reply.
I already opened a ticket as per your request and will let you know in case we include this kind of feature in one of the future updates of the plugin.
Thank you.
Dear @songdove,
Thank you for your patience.
I am glad to inform you that we already added your mentioned feature to the plugin and updated it accordingly.
See the screenshot below:
So, please update the plugin to the latest version, check the feature, and get back to us.
Thank you?
I just found the added setting. Although there’s been a sizable change as well. Prior to this change, my users could add words to their dictionaries on the front end, now they can’t unless I upgrade. So I either turn off the games, or revert to the previous version so my users can add words to their lists on their own. I only have 24 members of my site right now, so it doesn’t make sense to be upgrading at this stage. I’ll have to downgrade for now, I guess. . . At least I know the option is there now.
Dear @songdove,
Thank you for your reply.
As far as I understand, you upgraded to the latest 1.9.2 version.
After that, the logged-in users can’t add new words from the front-end.We checked the case and noticed that the new words are normally added on our end.
So, please provide us with the link, where the given dictionary is located so that we can check out the case and help you solve the problem as soon as possible.
Thank you.
My site is a closed, private site, so without knowing where you stand on certain current issues, I can’t give you access as it is behind the member registration. Your description says users can add words themselves on the front end, and said this in prior versions as well, so I tested this on 1.9.0 and can still do that on the front end. So we’re good for now. When I get enough users to warrant a paid upgrade, then I will do the upgrade to get rid of the game option, as it isn’t needed for my site’s usage of the plugin. Note that the upgrade after 1.9.1 is not to remove the game option itself, but to return the front-end user addition of words, as front-end submission is no longer free once the option to remove games is added.

Dear @songdove,
Thank you for your reply.
Please let me explain the case to avoid possible misunderstanding.
From the very beginning, you didn’t want to display the games on the front end.?
We considered your suggestion and created an option with the help of which you can show/hide?your desired?games on the front end.?If you don’t want to display games on the front end, you just?need to disable the following option:
By disabling this option, the games will not be displayed on the front end.?
We asked for the link as you mentioned your users were not able to add new words.
Please confirm whether?everything works fine or not for you now so that we can close the ticket accordingly.?
Thank you.
