Nictitate Theme Gallery not working properly with any lightbox

  • Hello, is there any way to de-customise – ie. standardise – the gallery settings in the Nictitate theme please?

    I’ve tried a number of different lightbox plugins, and they work fine just in page links and with other themes, but with Nictitate, in a Page, with the Add Media -Create Gallery – link to Media File – option, the gallery doesn’t properly display, with randomly placed thumbnails and without the lightpox pop-up.

    To test this, I’ve added a different theme and the lightbox works perfectly. I’ve also de-activated and re-activated the lighboxes, etc.

    So to recap, I think there must be some custom lockdown / changes in the Nictitate theme scripts. Can I change / neutralise / remove these in order that the gallery’s lightbox pop-up box displays correctly? If I can’t get this to work I will need to move to a different theme, as it’s a show-stopper.

    This is supposed to be a three-column thumbnail
    ‘[gallery link="file" columns="3" ids="1284,1283,1186,1184,1185,1285,1183,1182"]‘

    But you can see it’s display is sporadic and uneven. It does similar things with columns=”4″, etc. As I said above, it works perfectly with other themes.

    You can go to the Admin Panel > Plugins > Installed Plugins. Check again and please make sure that the Kopa Nictitate Toolkit plugin was activated.

    Hello, I’ve tried it with Kopa Nictitate Toolkit activated and de-activated. Either way it when I create a gallery page or post it isn’t producing thumbnails or activating the lightbox.

    I’ve spent a day researching alternative themes that didn’t really look right, and some time re-activating and setting up the Nictitate theme, the one I really want to use.

    i have kopa nictitate toolkit activated.
    i have wp lightbox 2 activated, and also soliloquy slider.

    the gallery does not display correctly, and doesn’t display in a lightbox.

    please can you give me your earliest attention so we can get this sorted.
