Same issue here. Upgraded from legacy version (exported form, deactivated plug-in, uninstalled, reinstalled latest from WP catalog), does not appear in dashboard. All plug-ins deactivated and caches cleared; still doesn’t appear.

Ninja Forms support gave me a solution, which maybe also can help you.

• You must install Ninja Forms & Ninja Forms Legacy plugins.
• Open Ninja Forms -> Settings
• Then you see a option Upgrade to 3

This option will upgrade Ninja Forms to version 3 and you can use it without the lagacy plugin.

Update: retrieve v2.9 from https://ninjaforms.com/docs/old-version-upgrade/ and followed instructions.

With 2.9, I’m able to see menu and access old forms.

Many thanks for the posts, I can see the logic of the information.

I am having problems installing version 2.9, I am getting the following message:

The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.

Any suggestions?

This depends on your hosting provider or server.

You can add upload_max_filesize and post_max_size directives in an .htaccess file.

If this is not working, please contact the support where your wordpress is hosted.

It sounds like you are still using the deprecated, 2.9.x codebase. The 2.9.x codebase is over 5 years old and you will need to upgrade to the 3 codebase to continue to use the Ninja Forms plugin.

To upgrade to the 3 codebase, make sure that Ninja Forms and Ninja Forms Legacy plugins are installed (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/ninja-forms-legacy/) You can then follow this documentation to upgrade. https://ninjaforms.com/docs/conversion/
