Nirvana Theme can’t get to Dashboard

  • I keep getting this message when I try to get to my dashboard. I’d recently tried to update the theme and wordpress. Plesk connection tells me with green color that the updates were successful, but even after refreshing, the prompts to complete the upgrades persist.

    I have tried renaming via ftp as someone suggested when I posted about this a few days ago. No Luck. I tried deleting the theme completely and redownloading it from a an old file on my Mac. Earlier I kept getting error messages about php files – situations that I didn’t need and remote possibilities – tried to move the items to comment section rather than code, but don’t really know what I’m doing.

    Would happily try another theme at this point, but Nirvana says they have thousands of downloads and I really like it, so why aren’t others having my problems?

    The time I have spent on this is absurd and I am very frustrated. Thank you anyone who can help!
