Nivo Slider Not Working with IE11/Edge

To all:
I’m using the jQuery plugin for Nivo Slider and my slide show works perfectly in Opera, Firefox, and Chrome. However, in IE 11 and Edge, the captions transition, but the images don’t (stays ‘frozen’ on first image). How can this be? Any help will be hugely appreciated, thanks.
