no access to admin area

I got home from work and I had an update notification for BackWPuP. I did the update, and now I can not enter into my admin area. It just goes to a blank screen. I get the same results on Firefox and Chrome so I don’t think it is a browswer issue. That was the single last action before the I was unable to get into the admin(dashboard) area. I do have another site without BackWPuP and it has no problems at all.
PS: I can see the site, and I can log in as an admin. I just can’t actually get into the dashboard area.
