• One of my clients websites is completely down and I cannot access the admin page. I have FTP access through Dreamweaver, and that’s it right now.

I was attempting to move the website from one domain to another. One of the options given to solve this problem on the WordPress website is to Change the Template Files to its new website. After changing those options to the new domain, there was an issue.

The website was already being forwarded from the new URL to the old URL when accessed. So this is the error I’m receiving from any browser (“Too many redirects occurred trying to open “https://www.my-pavilion.com/”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page.”).

How can I resolve this, and for that matter, switch the website from one URL to another? This needs to be done as quickly as possible, so quick response is a MUST and I will be eternally grateful for the help.

Thank you for the link. =)

And although I have e-mailed that mailing list as well, if anyone has any idea how to solve this problem, it would be greatly appreciated.

I did think this was the support forum for WordPress in general. My client has other websites that I take care of; he just asked me if I could figure this out for him for his blog. I didn’t mean to upset anyone; I just don’t know much about WordPress. =)
