NO ACCESS to SITE

  • Dear reader,
    After login on to my site, the page turns blank and in the URL bar it says http:\\www.sealtec.nl\wp-admin\.
    Then, if I change the URL into https://www.sealtec.nl, I see my site, including, just on top of the site, left to right, the WP-logo, my site name, updates… etc.. howdy, Marc Collet.
    If I push one of the option, say site name, I see the list of options, like themes.
    Pushing that, shows me a white page. The URL bar shows https://www.sealtec.nl/wp-admin/themes.php.

    I can not enter my site to make alterations!!! What should I do or try to get in again. This problem just occurred and I do not know why or how.

    http:\\www.sealtec.nl\wp-admin\index.php

    Are you able to see the page at http:\\www.sealtec.nl\wp-admin/update-core.php

    If so, can you click to Re-install Now?

    thank you of your message. if i use your pages.. I still get a white screen on my mac and an http 500 error in windows. For both pages suggested.

    Do you have ftp access?

    If so, rename the plugins folder at /wp-content/plugins
    Doesn’t matter what you call it (but don’t delete it)

    Then try and access the site admin.
    If that works – a plugin is causing the issue.
    If that does not help then still using ftp I would delete the /wp-admin and /wp-includes folders. Download a new copy of WP from here, unzip on your computer and upload just those.

    Do not delete /wp-content though.

    See how that goes?

    yes, FTP works fine.
