No action / nothing happens when importing

Could you please try disabling all other plugins and switching the currently active theme on your site. Also please make sure that the site in which you are importing the CSV is having the necessary file upload permissions.

Thanks for your answer. Oh no, please not. This is a production site and I don’t want to mess with the themes, last time I had bad luck doing such things… So before going into this risk, I will enter all reviews manually ??

But isn’t this a question of error handling? How can it be that in case of a possible problem just NOTHING happens?

We requested the user in the other support thread (www.ads-software.com/support/topic/nothing-happens-on-import/) to reach us via support and he hasn’t contacted us yet.

From the error message you shared, we can see some javascript errors on your site. Our plugins import works using javascript. Since javascript errors are occurring on your site the plugins import process is not getting started.

But this javascript error happens only when the button “Upload file and import” is pressed ??

Well, are we sure, that this error is causing the “nothing happens”?

Unfortunately the solutions in the thread you mentioned are with adding things to .htaccess, but this did not change anything here.

So it looks I have to enter the comments manually, sad

P.S. just wanted to mention that other imports do work without any issues: pages and products. So it’s really a pity that only this plugin here does not work ??

If you cannot check by switching the active theme on your then is it possible for you to set up a clone of the site so we can check in that. If you can set up the clone of the site then please share us the details of the same via support.

I can confirm that this issue also happened on my sites as well.

Update: Turns out the issue was PWA for WordPress plugin which for some reason the developers of decided it was a good idea to load the plugin js file in the admin dashboard.

I had this problem with WP Hide Posts plugin. When it’s deactivated, the import feature works properly.
