    Jetpack Mechanic ??

Do you use Jetpack on a local installation of WordPress? If so, your site won’t be able to communicate with WordPress.com, and you consequently won’t be able to use any Jetpack module that requires a connection to WordPress.com.

Don’t worry though, these features will become available as soon as your site is live and as soon as you connect Jetpack to your WordPress.com account.

Let me know if it helps.

Thanks for the response. Yes I’m using local installation of WordPress, the www.ads-software.com, version 4.1. Do I have to move my site from the localhost to the internet before I can activate such features like “publicize” because when There was no activation button when I am connected to the internet.

Yes, your site will have to be publicly accessible before you can use features that require a connection to WordPress.com, like Publicize.
