no admin login screen after installation

Hi im having the same problem trying to link to /wp-admin ive waited 24hrs no wp dashboard, pls help

I am also having this problem and have been for over a day. My friend who has a couple of websites and uses WP, is having the same issue… not sure if it’s on our end or not but if anyone has advice, it’d be greatly appreciated!

ha just worked it out!!

It does not appear that you have properly set the nameservers. You will need to use: ns183.hostgator.com and ns184.hostgator.com For example i bought a domain name on godaddy. Click onto the domain name and under nameservers change the address to hostgator

So I changed the name servers and it’s still blank, but I read that was because it takes up to 72 hours for it to process. So hopefully it will work within the next few days?

If the name servers are changed and domain is in propagation, you can check your wordpress site and its admin page using any proxy site like kproxy.com or hidemyass.com

immediately gives Page not found when clicking on the admin login link.

I have the same issue,
Domain with hostgator, hosting at 1and1, wordpress installed can access by FTP, but install does not work.

Hi friends,

For a few day I had the problem that i can not see the dashboard of my blog but a fixed just now.

Every time when I tried to enter at the dashboard the message, error 404 comes up.

Here are the steps that I made:

1. Download the wordpress new version direct from the www.ads-software.com website.
2. Decompress the zip file.
3. Upload/overwrite all de files, except “wp-content” in the carpet where my blog is hosted.
4. Close everything and reopen the admin page with my user and password.

Everything is working perfect.
