• Hello – I’m receiving email alerts for “need to update plugin” AND “an admin has logged in” BUT not when “an IP address has been blocked”. I do have this option checked in my Alerts settings area “Alert when an IP address is blocked”. Twice I have visited the “Blocked IPs” section under the tab “IPs that are blocked from accessing the site” and noticed that an IP was in there (being blocked) BUT I never received an email alert when it happened. Am I missing something? Should I have received an alert?

    do you have any limit set on Wordfence option “Maximum email alerts to send per hour”?

    Hello wfasa and thank you for your help.

    The “Maximum email alerts to send per hour” is set to “0” so that’s not it.

    I was experiencing another issue as well (my scan was getting stuck) so I decided to do a total reset.

    If you can’t think of anything else I’m ok waiting to see if the reset works.

    have you been able to get any emails for “Alert when an IP address is blocked” since your last comment here?

    Hi and thanks for checking in. I checked my “Blocked IPs” this morning and there was one in there (from the Ukraine) under the tab “IPs that are blocked from accessing the site.” Reason: “Blocked by login security setting” and I did NOT receive an email alerting me that this action took place.
