    Hi there,

I use the Essence Pro Theme from StudioPress and noticed that non of my images seemed to show alt text – although I made sure they all have alt text, title, caption and description within the ‘Media’ section.

The message I get comes from Yoast, telling me that no alt text appears on my page.

Can you help whats the issue?

    Many thanks,
    Christin

    Hello ??

Which images don’t have ALT texts? I have checked your code, but I can see the ALT texts, at least in your galleries’ images. Everything seems fine.

    Hello Jordy!

Thanks for your reply and for checking.

That’s odd then. Why do I get the notification from Yoast that there is no image alt attributes, or is this something different?

    Many thanks!

I am not sure at all. I am actually not using Yoast myself. I feel like it doesn’t do much in reality except adding a lot of stuff in the WordPress Admin and slowing down the performance of the install; a good theme already handles the SEO perfectly, on the technical level (and a human being can easily do the rest).

You should maybe try to scan your website through some kind of SEO online tool? That will give you extra answers ??
