No analytics Data although website is connected

  • Hello,

    although I added the website https://premium-hochzeitsbilder.de/ via Auth Token with the “WP-Matomo Integration” plugin, no data is recorded.

    Do I still have to manually insert the tracking code into the header or footer despite the “WP-Matomo Integration” plugin?

    But that should have been done by the plugin, right?

  • Hey, having the same error. Could you find a solution?
    I’ve installed Matomo self-hosted on one of my webspaces.
    I installed the WP-Matomo Integration Plugin in one of my Websites.
    Neither on the WordPress-Matomo-Dashboard nor on the Matomo-Dashboard data is shown.
    I think I followed the installation guideline correctly.

    I’ve tried different tracking methods, available in WP-Matomo.
    I was able to create tracking-data with the settings:
    tracking-code: js/index.php and position of java-script: header

    But most likely that was not what solved my issue.

    I think it is the ‘do not track’ feature in modern browsers like chrome.

    When I tried creating data I once used FF and disabled the do not track feature in this browser.

    Now I try to find the configuration in WP Matomo to deactivate respecting the do not track flag… debatable, but maybe helpful for the first.
