No Archives? (I want them – they don’t work)

  • I added code for my archives on the sidebar –
    <?php get_archives(); ?>
    They are listed monthly which is fine – but when you click any of the links even for the current month, there are no entries which seem to display.
    I tried to add count-TRUE but that fails and nothing shows….so I could show how many posts per month, but I guess one has to have archives first.
    There are MANY posts in the db… not sure why this is happening.

    In browsing my archives I see that even on old posts (over year or more) I only seem to have the time posted next to the post which is what I specified in index.php. Do I need to add a date variable there like the way the date is specified classifying multiple posts per page? That seems redundant… though I don’t understand why the archives are empty… so if that is what it takes I guess that will be the best option.
