    Hello,

Call me frustrated and what the fish?

I logged in and the left side admin dashboard is collapsed.

Many Google search responses say “Simply, click the arrow at the bottom of the menu.”

    But there is no arrow.

There are only “Guess what I am” icons.

Can we please add a settings checkbox option in the top right corner to Expand Icon Menu?

    Or something like this?

Or always show the arrow when collapsed?

The said button exists in the latest version of WordPress. Something on your own site is messing with the feature. And whatever is breaking the feature will still mess with it whether it’s a button or checkbox, and no matter where you put it.

What you need to do is figure out what’s hiding the button in your particular WordPress installation. Disable ALL plugins, switch to the latest default theme, and check. Flush your browser’s cookies and caches… or, better yet, test from a new GUEST browser window.
