Update: Strangely, when I change to a different theme the arrows do appear on the PhotoBlocks lightboxes. Changing theme is not possible though, because I’ve built my website using my current theme’s portfolio function, which does not work with other themes. My current theme is Virtue by Kadence

    Hi @jennifermnamara,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I tested this on my end and evrything works properly with PhotoBlocks activated and the theme you mentioned.

It might be an issue coming from another plugin.

I recommend installing this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/

After you install and activate the above plugin it has a Troubleshooting mode which allows you to have a vanilla WordPress session, where all plugins are disabled, and a default theme is used, but only for your user – your visitors will still see the normal website.

Go to its troubleshoot mode and only activate PhotoBlocks and see if it works correctly with a default WordPress theme (Twenty Twenty-One for example) and no other plugins.

Please let me know how it goes and what you find!

    Warmly,

    Beatrice.
