    Hello,

Second time I found the plug in do not automatically sync ical. That occurs on both WordPress 4.4.1 and 4.4.2. It work fine on manual sync.

    Any fix would be welcome.

Any donate link available? I’m not convince yet by full version as my requirements are high for season, week-end extra, conditional extra etc.. but would be happy to leave a few bucks to support development on free version.

Hi there, are you still having issues? As far as I see, it is working fine on my sites with the latest version of WP. Can you try to disable all other plugins, and set and save auto-sync to one hour, and see if it starts syncing?

    Thanks,

    Aaron

PS – Donate link, you are very kind ?? I’ll work on that

    Thank you Aaron,
I check this morning and I found out that it worked since I manually sync.

But it’s not the first time I see the calendar beeing out of date and stop synching. Is there any log that could help understand when/why it might not sync?

    Kind Regards,
    Elie

Glad its working again, not sure why it would have stopped. As for log, we can try to turn debug on in the config file if it happens again. Also, I think I will consider a feature to email admin when sync fails, I’ll add that to the next version! Thanks!

My auto sync of the calendar also stopped and I just found out it stopped a week before which is alarming. I have rechecked each and everything. It is not even working manually…

All the other cases, th calendars were syncing manually.

So in your case does the sync date not update when you press “Sync”? Or the date / time is updating but you can’t see data?

So if yours won’t sync manually it is probably your ICS links. Please double check those are populated with data.

everything was working perfectly fine… till 28 feb.. I checked ICS links again.. infact replaced the links for a room to test it but still the data from airbnb didnt appear in the website calendar as it always did.. and the system stopped sending conflict emails as well where all other emails are working fine.. i tested SMTP as well…

Could all ICS links break… I mean should I replace the links of all the listings.. please advise.. as your system was working perfectly fine…

Step 1: Does the Sync date on VR Calendar Dashboard update when you press sync? Yes / No?

Step 2: Does your ics calendar links validate? Try this free tool to check your links:

    https://severinghaus.org/projects/icv/

If they don’t validate, then the links are the issue and you should generate new ones / check their sources to see what changed in the links.

Please respond with answers to above questions, thanks!

    Thank you.

Yes an alert in case of sync failure would be very welcome, as the sync needs to be reliable.
Maybe a last successful sync field that could also be publish along with the calendar, would be welcome as well like:
    “Calendar last updated: 01.04.2016 16:03”

In case of problem it would notify users the calendar has not been sync for some time.

    Hey Sarat0ga,

“Maybe a last successful sync field that could also be publish along with the calendar, would be welcome as well like:”

We include that in the Pro and Enterprise versions, check the demo on our site here where you can see the “Calendar Last Updated” field right above each calendar:
