I updated the AAM plugin on one of my sites today. After updating I was not able to acces the back end of my site. I receiver this message “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

I installed an older version of the plugin and was able to regain access to my site. After regaining access I updated WordPress to version 3.8.1

I Then tried to update the AAM plugin once agin to V2.2. After the update I get the same message “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

I have tried reverting to older versions again to restore my access to the back end of my site but now can not regain access. I have tried deactivating plugins VIA FTP (since I have now admin access) but still can not access the site.

Can anyone please help me. I need to access this site ASAP

Thanks so much. This is a wonderful plugin that I use on several sites. This is the first issue that I have ever had.

    Hi erau2006,
    Please check this topic: https://wpaam.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3

There is a script that restore your admin rights.

Run it and let me know the result. I’ll explain later why it happened.

    Regards,
