  • @lacabriole, At the moment the back-end is only in English. We are working on making it so the plugin will translate into your language.

hi , and thanx for the response … the front end is not translating neither
the cart is always in english : item name, quantity, price, alerts etc… isn’t the language file/plugin at least ready for that? And what’s the actual problem anyway? The language file has a lot of stuff even for the interface in it …

I’m trying to develop a hack/workaround to use the plug in on a multilingual site with qtranslate. I like the plugin for its simplicity and therefor granted usability by the client

    Thanx for an answer
    best regards

Hi Micky, We do have the French translation in the plugin for the shopping cart (front end). Is your localization set correctly in your WordPress install? Do you have any other plugin installed that is picking the french language? If not then you may need to look at your localization settings in your install.

as i said , i’m using qtranslate for a 2 language site : french and english. French is set as first language = french interface for my client – except the paypal-shopping-cart interface. As far as I can see there is no other setting for a main language. The cart shows in english.
Never mind, i’ll put the words directly into the cart php.

Hi Micky, I think there seems to be a bit of confusion here.

    From your comment above

I’m using a french WP 3.8.1 installation with “responsive” theme 1.9.5.1
and c’ant get the plugin ( 3.9.4 ) back end working in french.

That is not possible at the present as stated by @ivy2120 in the following comment

@lacabriole, At the moment the back-end is only in English. We are working on making it so the plugin will translate into your language.

    Then @mra13 mentioned the following

Hi Micky, We do have the French translation in the plugin for the shopping cart (front end).

That means that only the front end is translated in French not the back end.

Let us know if this make sense to you.

    Kind regards
